Book a Hotel for the UEMS Congress
Please find
below all the information you need to book a hotel at the group rates secured by
UEMS. While we have negotiated competitive rates, we always recommend checking
the hotel’s website as well, since in some cases lower rates may be available
depending on availability at the time of your booking.
Please note
that we have secured a limited number of rooms at each hotel.
We strongly encourage you to book early, as availability is limited and demand
may be high. Each listing below clearly indicates the cut-off date,
after which any unbooked rooms will be released by the hotel. After these
dates, bookings will be subject to availability and rates may vary.
We will do our best to increase the room blocks as needed, depending on
demand and availability.

Practical Information
Spouses and other guests
According to UEMS regulations, guests will not be able to attend any
meeting related functions, including programme sponsored meals or coffee breaks unless they have a valid congress registration.
Dress code
Business casual for attendance and all functions.
Electricity
Electrical sockets in Belgium are one of the two European standard electrical
socket types. If your appliance’s plug does not match the shape of these
sockets, you will need a travel plug adapter.
Currency
Belgium has the EURO as currency.
Weather
The May weather in Leuven averages 18 degrees Celsius (65F) during the
day. In the evenings temperatures can drop to around 12 degrees Celsius (55F).
